I love this item, I wish it was bigger, and deeper, but this works way better than the pulling tools or forks, I have tried them all.My hands and arms were sore with the grabbing tools and the forks. This plastic device is so much easier!You can use it for salads too, shredding your lettuce and veggies. Love this thing! Just rinse after and wash with dish soap and water and it’s good to go. If you love shredded chicken you need this!

First of all, this item is very sturdy. The materials used to make it are heavy duty. The spikes that hold onto and shred the meat will not break from normal wear and tear and repeated use. They are thick. It has a base that keeps the shredder in one place on the counter as you are using it. The handles were easy to pop into place and are big enough that your fingers won’t slip off. The meat shreds with just a few turns. The more you turn it the finer shred you get. If you want bigger chunks, don’t turn it back-and-forth as many times. Cleaning was easy, although the most tedious because you have to get the meat away from the tines in both the bottom and top, but it was not a dealbreaker. I also appreciate the small two-tine fork included with the shredder. It helps to get the meat out a little easier. All in all, this is a big win and… spoiler alert… everyone in my family is getting one for Christmas next year!

Finally was able to use this and I must say, I am so impressed with how it works on chicken. It’s so easy and so much easier than shredding by hand. Easy to clean as well. If I could change anything about it, it would be to make it possible to remove the handles so I could store this in the box it came in when not in use. I have no extra storage in my kitchen to put it with the handles on it so will be putting it in my garage for now. I want to try this on pork sometime so when I make pulled pork for barbecue sandwiches. I highly recommend this product. One of the best things I’ve purchased in a while that I’m really in like with.

I’m going to have to buy one for my father in law. I’ve seen this product come up from time to time and I finally pulled the trigger, when I tell you this makes shredding meat so much easier. Normally I’d have to wait for the meat to cool off a bit before attempting to hand shred but with this it’s as easy as putting it on the product then a few turns and done. I would recommend buying this product.

Works so well! I’ve been reducing. Extra kitchen items because I really don’t have the space, but I decided to grab one of these and men does at work well. You will have to experiment it because it may only be three or four turns for chunkier chicken. Being my first time using it, I did it about ten turns, and it was very shredded. It was so easy though.
